From gut feeling to grounded: turn assumptions into proven impact

Yellowgrape is looking for a Junior/Medior CRO Consultant to join our UX & Experimentation team, where you will work daily on optimizing websites for the largest e-commerce companies in the Netherlands and abroad.

As a Junior/Medior CRO Consultant, you strive for optimal results for our clients by validating hypotheses for website improvements. Through research, you develop well-founded hypotheses, which you then validate with A/B tests to create real impact. You achieve this impact by running numerous tests and conducting quantitative and qualitative research for a wide range of companies across various industries. This makes for a highly dynamic and challenging role.

Furthermore, as a Junior/Medior CRO Consultant at Yellowgrape, you have the opportunity to specialize in various CRO areas such as UX, data analysis, qualitative research, or psychology. You will also be able to grow in your consulting role, for example, by guiding and persuading clients.

For this position, we offer a gross annual salary between €36,000 and €57,600 (based on a 40-hour work week).

What you'll love about this role

  • Conducting a CRO website scan, where you identify various strengths and weaknesses on the website through a client briefing;
  • Analyzing visitor behavior on the website based on available data sources and identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement;
  • Performing quantitative data analysis in Google Analytics 4;
  • Setting up and conducting qualitative research: surveys, remote user tests & heatmaps;
  • Creating test plans that translate a hypothesis into a concrete design and implementation;
  • Setting up and monitoring A/B tests across all devices, in collaboration with a front-end developer;
  • Analyzing A/B test results and incorporating findings into a report, including supporting evidence and advice;
  • Presenting the report and persuading the client to implement the recommended adjustments;
  • Guiding our clients toward an experiment-driven mindset;
  • Based on your knowledge, experience, and eagerness ;-), you will also be involved in:
    • Spotting opportunities to further expand business with existing and new clients;
    • Independently establishing, developing, and managing the CRO process for Yellowgrape's clients;
    • Contributing ideas to Yellowgrape's UX & Experimentation proposition and services.

Why this role fits you

  • A passion for e-commerce and online marketing;
  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or communications, or a demonstrable equivalent level of professional ability;
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in CRO (or other areas of online marketing);
  • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Varify/VWO/Optimizely, Google Analytics 4, and Contentsquare or Microsoft Clarity is a plus;
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus;
  • Creativity in finding suitable solutions or improvements within the field;
  • You enjoy diving deep into data analysis. Before arriving at a solution, you first investigate the problem and then work toward a shared objective;
  • The power of persuasion to build support among clients for our awesome vision and approach; if you still need to grow in this area, that's no problem ;-)
  • Strong collaboration skills are key at Yellowgrape; together, we provide even better service for our clients;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week.
