Yellowgrape has reached eighth place on the list of Best Workplaces 2021 in the Netherlands. We are extremely proud of that, because the score is largely determined by our colleagues. Earlier this year, Yellowgrape was named a Great Place to Work for the second time in a row. The fact that this score is also good for a spot on the list of Best Workplaces is the absolute icing on the cake.
Great Place to Work Netherlands examines the level of trust, pride and pleasure within organizations. Based on employees' responses to a 60-statement questionnaire and the evaluation of employer policy, an organization participates in the list. Today, the highest-scoring organizations have been recognized with the title Best Workplace.
With the rapid growth of Yellowgrape it's nice to have fixed values, a hub where everything revolves around and the team is clearly number one. We create these values together and that is reflected in the score. It is good to see that everyone at Yellowgrape feels secure and safe, has room for personal development and, above all, calls Yellowgrape a Great Place to Work.
Berend Jonckers, Senior Campaign Manager at Yellowgrape, adds: “Thanks to the team's responsibilities, training and overall drive to lead, I will continue to develop myself at Yellowgrape. The challenging projects, friendly atmosphere and activities outside of work ensure that I enjoy going to work.”
The Great Place to Work score is based, among other things, on the Trust Index: how much do people enjoy working at Yellowgrape? Here, questions are asked based on five themes.
On average, our colleagues give Yellowgrape a 9.0 on these themes in the Trust Index, with the sub-themes Connectedness, Competence and Training and/or Development Opportunities scoring the highest.
A 9.0 from our colleagues for credibility, respect, honesty, pride and companionship!
A fantastically high score, which, of course, we will continue to do our best to maintain. Over the past year, for example, we focused on the implementation of the Baarda remuneration model, so that we reward employees in a competitive, fair and transparent way. Together with the TMA talent management program, we thereby stimulate the development of competencies and talents.
In addition, 2 new fringe benefits have been introduced: the Yellowgrape mortgage arrangement and a greatly improved pension plan.
Furthermore, 2021 is marked by the social added value of us as an organization, but also that of our customers. Together with our colleagues, we determine Yellowgrape's course within the theme “Profit & Impact”. In doing so, we create concrete actions within our industry and field with which we (will) contribute to society together.
For 35 years, Great Place to Work has helped organizations increase trust in the workplace: the most fundamental element of a successful organization. The Great Place to Work research provides insight into the experience of employees, the way of working together and leadership within an organization. Based on this, Great Place to Work offers areas for improvement for a strong (er) organizational culture and assists in monitoring the research results. The international organization works with companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies in 60 countries on all continents. Every year, 7,000 organizations worldwide participate in this survey, which together represent approximately 12 million employees. This makes the study the largest of its kind.
