Marketing update: Awards, Campaigns, Events & more!

For Yellowgrape, the months of September and October are usually dedicated to fairs and events. Last year, among others, we were present at Shopping Today, we once again organized our famous e-commerce dinner, we presented at the CrossBorder event and ended the Deloitte Fast 50 gala with the e-Night. This year, of course, everything is going a little differently. Nevertheless, there is still plenty on the agenda. Read on for an update!

Dutch Interactive Awards: e-commerce category nomination

At the beginning of June, we received the news that we have been nominated for a third year in a row Dutch Interactive Award! This year, we won a nomination in the e-commerce category with the case from our customer Sightful. The (digital) pitch has now been completed and our work is being assessed by the professional jury. Whether the nomination will be crowned with an award remains to be seen. Stay tuned!

White paper campaign

This summer, we worked hard as a team on our new white paper and associated campaign. The white paper is entirely dedicated to developing online marketing strategies based on acquisition and retention. In the white paper, we not only describe the importance of both terms in e-commerce, but also provide tips and tricks on how to apply them to your business. In addition, it contains practical tools and we provide examples of customer cases from various sectors. Are you curious about the whole story? Download the white paper here.

In addition to the campaign, interesting interviews have been published on Twinkle and MarketingTribune. On Twinkle, you can read the story of our customer Sightful, a pure player in the online lens market. Here we delve deeper into our cooperation, the structure of the business case and the retention strategy. In the interview on MarketingTribune, Martin de Boer, Marketing Director at Corendon Hotels and Resorts, talks about the turbulent year and how we made the Costa Holanda a success together this summer.

Webinar: The importance of email retention

In addition, at the invitation of our partner Copernica, we recorded a webinar in Emerce's studio. Completely new to us, but very nice to share our vision in this way. In addition to johan-smits Smits, Martin de Boer was also a guest to delve deeper into the importance of a retention-focused email strategy within the travel industry and specifically for Corendon Hotels & Resorts. This webinar is the second in a series of five, which will appear on Emerce in the coming weeks.

Dutch E-commerce Week: October 28, 29 & 30

This year's Dutch E-commerce Week consists of three events: the Twinkle Marketplace Event, Shopping Today and the CrossBorder Event. All events take place at DeFabrique in Utrecht and each has its own theme. During the second day, at ShoppingToday, Yellowgrape is organizing workshops for a selected group of visitors. The theme of the workshop and its further implementation will follow soon!

The week ends with the CrossBorder event, of which we are also the main sponsor. The event is about international expansion and the challenges and opportunities that come with it. This day, Yellowgrape brings several interesting cases to the keynote room, about which we will be able to tell you more soon.
